I’m Linda Ma, currently a Ph.D. candidate at UC Davis in the Biochemistry, Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology graduate group with a designated emphasis in Biotechnology. I am studying nuclear migration in the model organism, Caenorhabditis elegans, in the lab of Dan Starr. Particularly, I am interested in determining the key players of the SUN-KASH enhancer pathway. I developed an interest in nuclear migration while an undergraduate at UCLA in the lab of Marcus Roper, where I studied the filamentous fungus, Neurospora crassa. I hold a B.S. in Biology from UCLA.
